Realizing that there aren’t really many straightforwards options for a no AF no FTF Mastercard outside of Capital One’s lineup, in case one wants some network diversity in their wallet for things like Canadian Costco or places abroad that don’t take Visa. Assuming all Cap One Mastercards will switch to Discover, what practical options remain in this niche? I know SoFi is one, but with the $120 AF debacle I’m not sure they can be trusted and recommended anymore.

What no AF no FTF Mastercards are left besides Capital One?

Why would you assume all Capital One Mastercards will switch to Discover? And why assume it will be soon?

Anyway, I have an Apple Card and and Bilt Blue that are both Mastercards without annual fees or FTFs.

Kroger cards, huntington voice, logix fcu, capital one cobrands, navy federal cash and go cards, fifth third

Best for a backup would probably be the kroger cards 5% back on mobile wallet (with a low cap though)

Plenty. Here are the ones I personally have with no foreign transaction fee and no annual:

Apple Card, Venmo Card, Petal Card, Carnival Cruise Card, FNBO Getaway Card (First National Bank Omaha).

There are a lot more than those too. I also have Discover and Capital One Savor too.

    4. Chase freedom flex

      Citi custom cash/premier/double cash

Wells fargo attune/choice hotels free card/signify

      USB Kroger cobrand cards

I’m sure there’s tons more smaller issuer cards and cobrands I’m forgetting.

US Bank / Kroger MasterCard has no FTF. Four brands, (Ralphs, HT, etc) have an extra 3% dining category too.
