There's an amazing lady on Facebook who goes by **Black Forager**, and she's a great person to follow if you want to cut down on your grocery bills. I just watched her video on Japanese knotweed, an invasive plant that's *everywhere*, and it's apparently really tasty! She demonstrates two ways to fix it (stir fry & quick pickle), and suggests trying it in place of rhubarb because of its flavour profile.

I recommend looking her up and taking advantage of her wisdom and knowledge to stay healthy and save money. She's taught this old dog lots of new tricks!

    1. It is naturally sweet and can be eaten like sugarcane. And once you identify it, you’ll realize how terrifyingly invasive it is.
