Yes. I had a bunch of xrp on coinbase and for some reason one day I logged in and all of my xrp was converted to bitcoin. I spent a month signing up for their concierge service trying to figure out what the fuck happened. And they couldn’t tell me. So I had to change back most of it back into xrp and then all of a sudden I got the joy of getting a taxable event that my accountant is dealing with now. So long story short yes take your shit off the exchange and put it into a cold wallet

Why should you take control of anything you own? Do you own your house? Then I’m sure you own the keys and not your bank or anybody else and they grant you access via app. We are so used to not owning our money that we ask questions like these.
