This isn’t the perfect place to ask this but I trust your judgement more than other’s. I‘m a high school senior and I have to commit to a college soon. My choices are down to the University of Pittsburgh or Boston University. I want to work for the government. Does anybody have any insight on these two schools?

Also, more generally, how do you view the future of the field of economics? Are there any industries that you see the demand for economists growing or shrinking?

Thanks, I’m pretty uninformed and don’t have anyone to talk to this about. If there are any resources you know I will definitely check them out.

Which of these schools is better for someone who wants to be an economist for the government?
