Hello everyone,
I have completed the template for accurate recommendations. Just wanted to clarify that I am 23 years old and the ONLY credit card I have is a Discover it card. I am looking for a card that has the best travel perks.
Thank you in advance!

Are you sure you want your second credit card to be a travel card, when you have no travel expenses as of yet (Uber is traditionally transit) and don’t know what your post-graduation spending and travel habits will look like? Most of the fancy appealing travel cards on the market charge annual fees that only make sense if you can consistently utilize their annual credits in your regular spending, spend enough in the categories they reward to accumulate a good points balance, and fly with their partnering airlines enough to be able to reap solid value from transferring points over to their rewards programs. With your current spending and profile I’d recommend none of them.
If it’s a yes anyways, the Citi Strata Premier makes the most sense if your groceries spend is actually groceries and not Costco. 3x on groceries, dining, gas, airlines & hotels, and 1:1 transfers to American Airlines. Otherwise the Venture X may be better as a Visa that earns 2x across all purchases including Costco, and with an easy to recuperate annual fee if you can utilize its $300 annual travel portal credit. It has no major domestic airline partners and leans towards international travel, but the travel eraser makes it easy to get at least 1 cent out of every point and it has benefits to justify itself further like lounge access and good travel protections
