For context: in 1997 two-thirds of Albania’s population lost their life savings in a nationwide pyramid scheme. The government collapsed. The army dissolved. Citizens raided military bases and took the weapons home. These guys said ‘anyway, stripes or solids?’ and used a Kalashnikov as a cue. Most financially literate Balkan investors.
