This should come to a surprise to nobody. Hegseth saw everyone else around him profiting from decisions made by the administration and he wanted a piece. After all, alcohol prices have been hit particularly hard by inflation lately.
Well it doesn’t surprise me that he tried doing this.
What’s a little surprising is that he somehow wasn’t able to do it. It’s not like you have to actually contact BlackRock to buy their ETFs. You can just click some buttons to buy them.
