Just got hit with the first AF for my wife’s Southwest card after signing up last year for the SUB. No intention to keep it (I already have one we use quite a bit more) but nervous about canceling to get the fee removed. I know Southwest doesn’t have a free card to downgrade to.
Never canceled to get the AF bumped off and want to make sure I don’t get her added to a Chase blacklist or have them try and remove the sub (they wouldn’t be able to, points are already spent and gone).
