I want to clean out my points from USBAR but it seems like everything on their website sucks, less than 1% , for example $25 statement credit costs like 3125 points – that redemption rate is terrible. They are not even offering 1cpp on gift cards !
Does RTR only work on direct travel and is that 1cpp?
And no interest in opening a bank account for the purpose of redeeming points

Check with amazon checkout.
I recently loaded my Amazon balance with an usbar points redemption and it was still 1:1. It’s nice because you can load whatever amount you want, no increments.
Travel rtr rate is still 1:1, non-travel rtr rate is a lower redemption rate.
Use RTR by booking a refundable bus or train ticket, cashing out, and then cancelling your booking.
You could also future schedule an Uber or Lyft and cancel the same way.
Either way, your booking has to cost less than the available points left to cash out. Ie, $32 bus ticket for a 3500 point redemption, etc.
