My Barclays card is moving towards the AA Plat card this month.

I actually just for the AA card last month for the 1000/80k miles bonus, so that’s that. I don’t need 2 of them haha.

I’ve read conflicting reports on if I can product change to a non AA card. if anything I know I can downgrade to the no AF card, but I’d prefer something like the custom cash over another AA card (I don’t even fly American I just use the points for partners)

I was wondering if you guys had any luck with a product change or not. TIA!

Any DPs on non-AA PC for CITI AA Cards?

    1. The DPs I’ve read is that they offer other AA cards and the Strata Elite.

I presume the Elite can be the gateway to the TYP family, but as as of right now, the card is less than a year old, so no one has had the chance to change from it yet, so we don’t know it’s PC options.

I recently converted my Citi AA Platinum Select to the AT&T Points Plus, which is a no AF card that earns TYP, as below. It also gives you AT&T statement credits after certain levels of spend, but not at a particularly attractive rate for me to pursue.

Earn 3 ThankYou® Points for every $1 spent at gas and EV charging stations.

Earn 2 ThankYou® Points for every $1 spent at grocery stores, including grocery delivery services.

Earn 1 ThankYou® Point for every $1 spent on all other purchases.
