Liability & Private WC Insurance for Intern USA –> Canada

Hi! Please help me! I am a US citizen interning at a hospital in Canada over the summer. My daily activities will be similar to the activities of a social worker.

Problem #1. I need liability insurance for $3.6M/occurrence (no specification on aggregate). I cannot find a company willing to underwrite a student/intern policy for such a high amount. The Canadian companies I've talked tell me to use US companies.

Problem #2. I have no specific coverage requirements for private worker's compensation insurance. Again, the international piece is complicated. The only company that offered to cover me was for a premium of $1500, which is not feasible.
