Stake pools on Cardano are closing up! What’s happening!?! #cardano #crypto #cryptocurrency #ada
π¨ Small stake pool operators on Cardano are dropping like flies!
– It’s harder to run a pool w/ low delegation.
– ADA price makes ops unprofitable.
– Low rewards are shaking out SPOs that are unable to provide rewards for their delegates.
π€ Do we need to fix this, or are market dynamics at play?

That's why I always stake with "ADAOZ"… $artdonate <—Donate cardano
Charlse don't care about the delegator and stake pool operator. Slowly killing decentralization.
This is really sad and quite concerning.
What are the long term sustainability options?
Why such a high amount of Ada required for staking?
I was in LGC delegated to your pool instead after his post
If there was a way for a few small pools to unite to get near that 10m threshhold splitting operating cost whilst splitting the rewards..dunno if its possible but π€·π»ββοΈ
It is by design, and I think it's a good approach. If you're not able to maintain a pool while you're there, why should you receive value for it? This is where people often misunderstand how ADA works. You need to bring utility to the network in order to receive something back there is no free lunch.
Interesting problem.
I think ADA coins from retired pools should be automatically redelegated to other pools, for example to smaller ones. It would help both SPOs and decentralization. Of course, such coins should not be counted toward the voting power of SPOs.
ADA coins that are being unstaked would be automatically redelegated based on some random function and a weighted sum of certain criteria that form would need to be designed. Of course, users could re-delegate these coins to their own pools at any time and then those coins would again count toward that SPOβs voting power.
In my view, this is much better solution than leaving them unstaked, and it could help quite a lot. This way, the amount of unstaking coins would be reduced to a minimum.
