Am I reading this correctly? I can balance transfer my Discover credit line into my checking account and use that money to pay down parent plus student loans at 0%?

Yeah that’s basically a cash advance with extra steps. The 0% is usually just for purchases or actual balance transfers from other cards, not for moving credit to your checking account
Most banks will code that as a cash advance which comes with fees and higher interest rates from day one. Read the fine print carefully before you try it
