Put monster truck wheels on the tankers and drive them through the desert. They’d float better too, can’t believe people are this stupid.

I don’t think most realize how many trucks it takes to replace a tanker.
You’ll need 30,000 trucks moving oil per day to compensate. People forget how big and efficient oil tankers are.

So maybe not trucks. Rail would do it, except for risks of terrorism or the occasional rocket. They’re targeting tankers, so if they can, they’d target a rail system for sure. Just not as easy a target given the location.

Iran was funding the Houthis in the Red Sea. We had operation rough rider last year where 190 ships were attacked and 2 sunk through the Iranian proxy. Epic Fury is an escalation caused by Iranian based attacks in the Red Sea.

jokes aside, geographically speaking, two countries that hold even a bigger leverage than Iran are Oman and Yemen. Makes you wonder why didn’t UAE and KSA try to carve out part of Oman for themselves knowing the Iranian risk!
