I'm sure some others also feel this way, but I am a little lost, and uncertain, with what's going on with student loan repayments right now. I am currently on the SAVE plan, been notified I'll have to change, and now I am unsure what is the best way to go. I have A LOT in student loans (thanks law school), and frankly just hoping to talk to someone that I can get advice from, or even general information on the state of student loan repayments.

I have quite literally never gotten a response from my loan servicer over several years of reaching out (despite the "we're here for you" email I got in March..), and I got that email from the education department on April 1 telling me to change plans, and that my servicer will be reaching out to me about the change (but still haven't gotten anything from my servicer, and just checked again).

At this point, I'm just hoping to talk to someone who can maybe give me some info/advice so I can figure out the best path forward for my situation. My loan servicer doesn't respond to electronic communications, and the call lines are never ending (plus, I feel like there's some conflict of interest there..). I have no idea what state the ED Department is in nowadays, but don't expect I'd be able to get much, if anything, from them.

Anyway, if anyone knows of some resources they can point me to, I'd be eternally grateful. Maybe there aren't any because of the changing landscape, but figured I'd ask, because I'm starting to have serious concerns related to finances.

Any services for Obtaining Independent Advice on Student Loans and the best plan under the new plans/guidelines?
