Tips for starting a home automation product business

Hello,

I've created embedded home automation software that runs on a specific device. I'm at the point where I'd like to try selling it, but I don't know whether to just sell the software and let the user do the rest, or whether to sell everything included.

The first option would be simpler, but the target user would need to be an expert.

The second option is for more advanced and less experienced users, but it requires certifications, assembly, and shipping.
