Hello,
Trying to level up my credit card setup and looking for some direction. Started with the Chase Freedom Rise $600 last September, Chase upgraded it to a Freedom Unlimited recently without me asking. Also grabbed the Amex Gold last month with the 100k SUB since I eat out constantly, plan to use the points to pay for flights for vacation in November. Routing all food and dining to the Gold and everything else to the Freedom Unlimited, but the $1,200 limit gets eaten up fast so utilization runs high.
The gaps I can see are gas, rent, and general catch-all spend where 1.5% feels like leaving money on the table.
Fly out of DFW 2-3 times a year, mostly Delta or AA, not locked into either. Not loyal to any hotel chain. Main goals are travel rewards and plugging the holes in my current setup. Very new to credit cards in general so any input is appreciated
