I recently started using Yahoo! Finance Portfolio management to aggregate my stock holdings held at IBKR, Fidelity, Webull, and Robinhood into one dashboard I can look at without going to every single one individually.
Having Yahoo! Finance connect to most brokerages is simple enough to get access to your portfolio. For those concerned about security, downloading the CSV files from brokerages to upload into Yahoo Finance is also fairly simple… except for Webull.
Webull neither allows their brokerage to be linked (via Yodlee or Plaid) nor provide a way for customers to download CSV files.
My workout for this is to take a screen shot of my entire portfolio (be care not to accidentally double SS a position if the number of stocks you have is so big, multiple shots are required). Go to an AI (I used Gemini), and enter the following prompt:Create a stock CSV file for me based on my attached portfolio's stock holdings so I can import it into Yahoo Finance's portfolio tracker, in the following format:
Symbol,Trade Date,Purchase Price,Quantity
AAPL,20210818,146.44,100
You can then take the resulting CSV your AI gives you to upload to Yahoo! Finance. Make sure it's in the exact format as above because my first few attempts were rejected as I learned the hard way Y!F is very particular what format they accept!
