Surpassed the $57K lifetime loan limit is there any other way I can get loans?

Hey so i’m a ungraduated and was informed this semester i surpassed the $57k limit and will no longer receive loans next semester… is there any way i can get loans or will i have to come out of pocket

also is it true if i pay down the $57k limit i can borrow more or is it a lifetime limit?
