Today I slayed the dragon of spy mountain with a 0DTE

I hit a milestone today. As I usually work during the regular trading hours I don’t get a lot of time to watch much of the movement of the day, often finding out after hours, so options appeal to me because I can plan a little bit ahead of time. Heck even a year in advance if I wanted to. I’ve seen the 0DTE getting popular and more attention lately and finally today I was able to get in.

So when I got up this morning and walked to the window I saw the fierce mountain they call spy a.k.a $S&P500, way up high the dragon soaring around the 710 level, I had then realized there was only one this left to do. Since I use #Moomoo I quickly remembered that they had a great feature for options that allowed me to see all the 0DTE orders for the day. I was able to scan through and calculate to the perfect percentage of maximizing my attack, and with my risk management plan promptly by my side giving me the go go go!!!!. I executed the three PUTS with one at 712 and the other two at the 709 strike zones. After getting confirmation and saw the dragon spiraling down to the 707’s I took a breath. Moments later. I CALLed out to the 719 level in search of any survivors…. Then started my trek back up the mountain with the wind in my hair and a win on my back. 😏
