How fast startups are copying features

I was talking to a friend who leads a ride-sharing app in India.

They spent months building a feature.

Shipped it.

A competitor (Rapido) released a very similar version the next day.

Made me realize something:

Feature velocity is no longer a moat.

Feature parity is inevitable.

So the real question is —

what actually doesn’t get copied?
