Currently a senior graduating this fall, planning to find an apartment and go full time after. Doing an internship over the summer so I'll have some income to start covering things myself.
I am currently an authorized user on my mom's card which I use for groceries and gas. I have a card in my own name but Capital One has the credit line locked at $400 and refuses to increase it.
- Current cards:
- Amex BCP $25,000 limit, Nov 2020 (Authorized user)
- Quicksilver One $400 limit, Sept 2020
- FICO Score: 800
- Oldest account age: 5 years 8 months
- Chase 5/24 status: 0/24
- Income: No income currently, internship starting May
- Average monthly spend and categories:
- groceries: $400
- gas: $180
- other: $100
- Open to Business Cards: No
- What's the purpose of your next card? Cashback
- Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Amex BCP, Citi Custom Cash, Wells Fargo Active Cash
- Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? Category is fine.
Senior student that is graduating in the fall. Need card(s) recommendations for after I graduate.
