Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
None. A fifth-third debit card.
FICO Score: I used that government website and apparently I have no credit history. I've never had a credit card.
Oldest account age: n/a
Chase 5/24 status: n/a?
Income: 25k. But I make about 40k per year from a longtime mutual fund.
Average monthly spend and categories: 1.5k
Open to Business Cards: No idea, sure.
What's the purpose of your next card? I guess to build credit. This all started on an Allegiant flight I was on, and some attendant said "open a card and spend 2k on it to make $400 for free!" or some nonsense… but it got me thinking, "hey, I'd take $400 for free." You know? But I understand "building credit" is useful, no? If I could get a decent perk and build credit, that'd be great.
Do you have any cards you've been looking at? I know quite literally nothing about credit cards.
Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? No idea.
New to credit cards. Have no credit history.
