Exploration outcomes often come down to how many targets get tested.
NovaRed Mining has expanded its Wilmac project to more than 16000 hectares and added the Plume and Trojan Condor areas. That means the 2026 program is no longer focused on a single zone.
Instead, the company can test multiple areas within the same system.
The plan includes about 80 line kilometres of IP and AMT surveys across several grids. Each grid adds another chance to identify a drillable target.
That matters because early exploration is probabilistic. One target can miss. Several targets increase the chance that one lines up with the right geology.
The project still sits about 10 km from Copper Mountain in the Quesnel belt, which gives a clear reference for what a successful system looks like.
NRED is still pre drill, but the structure now supports testing more than one idea at once.
NFA.
Do you think having multiple targets in one program improves the odds enough to justify earlier attention?
NRED now has multiple targets to test in one season and that changes the odds
