NVDA is the largest component of the SOX (10-13%) but has not participated much in the latest semi rally. Which makes the SOX move even more eye popping, since it has achieved this largely without NVDA contributing.
If you include 1 more year to this chart, NVDA still has a sizable lead on the SOX.
