Keep losing out to bidding wars, is there any else I can do?

So we sold our house, closing in a week, and we have 30 day rent back for $600(cheaper than our mortgage) but we CAN NOT seem to get any offers accepted. We look within a budget of 250k and down, no more than $1300 a month mortgage payment. We lost out on offers before we sold our house, so we said ok, sell the house first so we have no contengcy, now we are still having issues. Put in two offers this week, one we offered full price, no refundable deposit, no inspection, no seller assistance, then the realtor says they got one other offer, is that our best offer? Then the other one, we offered OVER asking, and no inspection, no seller assistance, non refundable deposit and they have 6 other offers and we have to wait till tomorrow to see who the "best highest" is. My husband is losing his mind, thinking we screwed up, wants to find out about how to cancel the sale of our house. I'm at a loss here, we've been trying to buy since April last year. In central pa area, there is just hardly any inventory. I don't know what else to do or try, are we messing up somewhere? My realtor says he can't get info on what the other competitors offers are….it's so disheartening
