I assumed the hard part would be finding clients. it wasn't.

    the hard part was realizing the clients I fought hardest to close were the ones who drained me the most. more revisions, more scope creep, more "can we just add one more thing." meanwhile the ones who said yes quickly and paid full price barely needed hand holding at all.

    took me about a year to stop celebrating every closed deal and start paying attention to which ones I actually wanted to keep.
