Long story short, purchased a new built, most of the floors came with carpet. It’s a floating subfloor. I took out the carpet to install LVP and that showed uneven/ not flat subfloor. There are slopes all over the house.
I told the builder and they are saying since they sold me the house with carpet and it was in tolerance, any changes I make after is my responsibility.
They also came and looked at the floor and are telling me “it’s within tolerance”
I’m obviously really upset but will this reduce my home value?
Floor within tolerance but still sloped? Reduce house value?
