Insurance when to claim

Hi
My Tesla had a major malfunction during Autopark and took a pretty bad hit. I have an appointment at the Tesla Collision Center next Thursday, and I’m planning to have Roadside Assistance come that day to tow it.

In the meantime, the car is stuck at my workplace. Should I start the insurance claim now, or wait until Wednesday or Thursday when the car is actually headed to the shop?

Also i am very upset the tesla acting weird.
