Kevin O’Leary: I Wouldn’t Wait To Get Into Crypto

Kevin O’Leary is adamant about regulation, particularly ESG and carbon emissions regarding mining. In the interview, O’Leary discussed the political side of regulation. He recently met with prominent government officials on Capitol Hill such as governor Cynthia Lummis, Senator Ted Cruz, and Senator Rick Scott, regarding crypto, which he tweeted about it being a very productive meeting. From O’Leary’s point of view, the volatility of the crypto markets comes down to regulation and once more regulation comes into the picture, the big institutions will come into the space which will cause a more stable market. That isn’t a bad thing per se, but from his perspective, the wild gains that most crypto investors have been accustomed to won’t be prevalent when big money comes in to stabilize the market with their 1-3% allocations. He urges the audience not to wait to get into crypto because the regulators are picking up momentum and moving at a very fast pace now.
