Me and my wife both have separate Southwest credit cards. We use the points about once a year for a trip but I don’t see the point in us both having separate cards that have annually fees. We only use our credit cards and pay them off entirely each month. We NEVER carry over a balance.
The Amazon card we strictly use for Amazon purchases and that’s it. My discover card is about 12 years old and I use it every 6 months just to keep it active since it’s my oldest form of credit.
My wife’s credit is in the high 700s as well. Not sure if it would be wise for one of us to cancel a southwest card and then get a new one and just share it to stack other incentives.
