Hi all,
I am in the process of paying off debt and I am struggling with staying in budget with groceries and eating out. The constant rise of everything has made it difficult, but I have also struggled with saying no to coworkers about grabbing lunch during work.
I usually meal prep most Sundays and bring lunch to work, but when you're asked to eat at your favorite places…it's hard to say no. I blame myself for the behavior as well and I know I need to change it. How are you guys handling the food costs?
I usually budget like $50-80/month for eating out/entertainment but even that doesn't feel realistic bc of the costs just to eat out. It's like a minimum $20 where I live not including tip. I travel for work a lot and sometimes I have weeks i can't meal prep.
TIA
I need to cut back on my eating out per week
