Do credit cards offer travel insurance if you don’t use their travel portal

I book travel on airlines and hotels directly with the carrier / hotel (sometimes on travel sites like booking and Expedia). Let's use this latest travel fiasco in St. Lucia, where the JetBlue airline hit the bird and JetBlue would not reimburse or provide accommodations for their passengers for an overnight stay in meals because the bird hit/damage was an act of nature. Will any credit card pay for the hotel stay & food as a travel insurance perk for using their card???
