Some context:
    – I finished my Masters in late 2019 and when the 6 month grace period ran out my loans were in limbo due to the COVID forbearance.
    – I applied for the SAVE plan and have been in forbearance with that ever since

    – I applied for borrower defense for approximately $15k of my loan balance and that was/is caught up in the Sweet lawsuit since they missed the deadline

All in I have $110k in student loan debt I’ve never made a payment on. They’ve lived with Mohela and FSA over the years. I have the covid years counting towards PSLF and I’ve been holding out on applying for a new payment plan.

I received an email from Nelnet yesterday that I had a message. I thought it was a scam because I had never used or logged into it but when I setup my login it shows approximately $15k in administrative forbearance – all linked to the borrower defense case. Great!

Except when I go to FSA it shows a huge “Congratulations! Your loan balance is $0!” Banner and everything is wiped out…. $95k in legit balance is just gone and there’s no information as to why. I can’t apply for IBR because there is no balance and I’m almost nervous to call and ask and draw attention to it. Is anyone else seeing this???

I have a $0 balance but never made a payment???
