The US Energy Secretary has told Sky News that America will “not ask Europe to do things it simply cannot do” when it comes to weaning itself off Russian energy.
President Joe Biden will travel to Brussels later this week to meet EU leaders to discuss new sanctions on Russia.
In an exclusive interview, Secretary Jennifer Granholm told Sky News’ Climate Change Correspondent Hannah Thomas-Peter there will be “no judgment” on the ways Europe tries to find alternative supplies of energy.
