Default but no contact from MOHELA?

I just received a notice of default from Dept of Education, but I have received NOTHING from MOHELA, my servicer, in well over a year, except for one email that I found in my spam folder a month ago. Is this one of the situations that the MOHELA lawsuit would cover? And what is my next course of action?
