Just speaking my mind

    -Warning rant/venting post-

I usually don't post my feelings about things like students loans as I understand that no one forced me to go to college or to take out loans. Etc. however I have No clue what to make of these student loan payments jumping up to 600$ a month. It should be a crime on how long these nitwits at studentaid.gov are taking to update the pslf payment counts for borrowers. Like what do you mean you don't have an estimated time frame on when you'll update the numbers? Is there anyone besides some cloud ai software cranking those gears back there or is their plan to annoy the crap out of every borrower who obtained their degrees? These new payments are basically a f\*\*ing car payment. And what good are these new payment plans for people holding non profit or government positions if by the end of these payment terms you end up paying the entire loan in full. There's going to be nothing left to forgive by the end of it. Gives very little incentives for people to even want to contribute to these institutions as you'll probably make more if you found a job in any private sector that could careless about your degree. College feels like such a scam unless you are able to obtain a full ride. You are better off using that money seeking out knowledge on your own terms. Sure you won't have a degree to check off the box in your job application for certain positions but the financial metaphorical shackle not being attached to you is worth its weight in gold. You would probably get more out of it and less likely to line the pockets of these indoctrinating professors teaching s\*\*\* that is only relevant for stuff in the 1800s. But I guess education is merely just a business junction. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up taking anyone with a pulse into their programs to keep the lights on. This is where American education has failed us and it is heading towards a new age where people are simply giving prompts from ai rather than being taught practical skills and entrepreneurship.

    Ok that's my Ted talk.

    Have a good night
