Hi everyone. I’m 24, I’ve been super good about saving kind of my whole life. I started working a minimum wage job at 14 and never really stopped working. I now have a decent job and save over 60% of my income between my 401k/HSA/investments. I’ve managed to do this while living in one of the most expensive cities in America by having roommates and such. It looks like I should be able to be work optional by 35 (living off of investment return) IF everything pans out as I expect it to.. that said we never really know what’s going to happen. I am not super confident in this current administration, big tech, or the stability of the US as a whole at the moment. Are there any safeguards worth looking into?
