Bitcoin White Paper was first posted on Cypherpunk. More specifically, Cypherpunk is a network of encrypted e-mail system.

    In 1992, Intel’s senior scientist, Tim May launched the Cypherpunk mailing list group.

    In 1993, Eric Hughes wrote the book: “A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto”. It’s the first time that the word “Cypherpunk” showed up. There was approximately 1,400 initial users who discussed topics ranging from cryptography, politics, philosophy, to personal issues.

    Earlier members were elites of the IT industry, such as the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, creator of BitTorrent, Bram Cohen, inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim-Berners Lee, father of smart-contracts, Nick Saab Co-founders of FaceBook, Sean Parker, And of course, founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.

    Prior to the birth of Bitcoin, the Cypherpunk community invented more than 10 different digital currencies and payment systems.
