"retail" don't mean poor, it means buy orders place on retail exchanges. sure there are people buying $100 worth, but there are retail individual clients buying 2 bitcoin in one day as well.
You can twist it any way you want but the price action says it all. More investors are selling than buying period.

The global crypto markets remain bearish amid a prevailing sentiment of “extreme fear”. It is all about inventory for the crypto market. It seems that the panic has become a little less and everyone began to think with their heads, and most importantly, they realized how good a time it is now to buy Bitcoin. As long as the bitcoin is low people will continue to invest because even a fraction you bought and start trading can do you a lot of good in your financial system aspect. Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. Day trading makes sense but people should observe the market and be cash ready for the dip instead of averaging down. I hate that the market can be manipulated by a group of people. they go about killing small investors but i am of the opinion of being unemotional towards the market, don’t FUD or FOMO no matter what, have in mind that the market will always present an opportunity. i will always suggest trading with professionals for now.
