I just completely rebuild a script listed on reddit. It now uses the coinmarketcap api, and you as a user are just able to enter the name of the coin you want to data from instead of using all kinds of tricks. Currently gets the price in euros, but ill also make that variable.
Also when u press the touchbar crypto button it changes the price to the percentage change in the last 24 hours.
Still has some small issues but ill work those out.
