I really don't get cryptocurrency it's pointless and not a good investment it's a gambling thing can you buy before price goes up not a regulated currency meaning these people can just crash the price on the fly to suit their needs, it's a neat idea but ultimately useless technology and has no actual value

If your wondering why SBF is not in jail yet then let me explain:
FTX is more like Theranos than Lehman bros or Madoff.
Both FTX and Theranos were tech companies with a dream to revolutionize the industry and both failed measurably because the dream was based more on lies and fantasy than reality.
In June 2018 Elizabeth Holmes was indicted by a Federal grand jury after a 2 year long investigation and her company Theranos was dissolved in Sept 2018.
It took 4 years for her to go to trial and finally get convicted of Fraud and sentenced to 11 years prison.
FTX is a far more complex case than Theranos as it has as many as 120 interconnected companies in the SBF/FTX group so it's going to take a fair amount of time for the investigators to collect all of the evidence and figure out exactly which charges that they are going to bring against SBF. (you can't just lay fraud charges without saying who was defrauded and by how much etc).
It doesn't mean that they are lazy or trying to cover things up. Collecting all of the evidence and getting the charges right is exactly what they need to do to bring an air tight case against SBF so that he goes to prison for a very long time.
So we can expect that its going to take up to 4 years (or even more) before we see him behind bars.
In the meantime we will see him playing games, doing interviews and even trading with money that he was able to ~allegedly~ pilfer before the collapse of FTX because under US law he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. (US law applies whenever US investors are defrauded regardless of where it happens.)
It doesn't mean that he is getting away with it.. it just means that the legal system is slow and inefficient. so don't hold your breath.
SBF is an informant, his dad is in with the Elite, they set him up to do the exact move he made, his dad is with the elite who don't want Crypto, they staged this to try and take down crypto. He want do jail time cause the Elite set this play in motion. SBF isn't some sharp mind, he is a pawn of the Elite who doesn't want crypto to shine.

All cryptos are vaporwares and Cathie Woods is one of the pump and dump grifters. Values are all based on perceived values and illusions. I recall she was bullish and praised Coinbase to high heavens last year just to encourage buyers. Where is it now? It was from 350 USD to 45 USD. If someone did follow her advice on a long term basis investment – that person burned his pocket horrendously, For every dollar he has invested, it is now valued at 15 cents.
