Today we saw the cryptocurrency market drop to its lowest level since the start of August 2017. This week the Securities and Exchange Commission decided to wait until the end of February of next year before revealing its decision on the VanEck Bitcoin ETF. The last time the SEC postponed the decision on the VanEck bitcoin ETF was in August and we saw the cryptocurrency market suffer big losses.

    Bitcoin dropped to a new 2018 low today. Today we saw Bitcoin fall just under $3,400. The last time we saw it at around this level was in September 2017. This day last year Bitcoin surged all the way past $15,000 heading towards $16,000.

    Today Coinbase revealed that it is explore 30 cryptocurrencies. Some of these include XRP, Cardano, Aeternity, EOS, Stellar, Zilliqa, ChainLink, Maker NEO, OmiseGo, Augur, and Tezos.
