In this cryptocurrency news roundup, we first look at Bitbns’ new listing – Achain. Bitbns has become the first Indian cryptocurrency exchange to list Achain (ACT). Essentially, ACT is a platform project that allows developers to issue tokens, run smart contracts and build dApps. Deposits for Achain coin are now live and trading is expected to begin soon. ACT becomes the 34th cryptocurrency to be listed on Bitbns. Koinex has also added a new coin on its platform – Ontology (ONT). In the news for its recent upward price movement, ONT is a cryptocurrency project built on the NEO platform. Investors can now trade in ONT on Koinex. In other crypto news, University College London has cut its ties with cryptocurrency project IOTA citing the fallout over an IOTA vulnerability report. Lastly, we look at Japan which is planning to restrict trade of privacy focused cryptocurrencies such as Dash and Monero.
