South Africa’s mining industry might miss yet another cycle of the commodity boom. That’s due to declining production, low levels of exploration, unreliable energy supply, labour unrest, and policy uncertainty. These views were expressed by several mining executives and investors at the Africa Mining Indaba which got underway in Cape Town today.
