Hello, I’m James and thanks for joining me on Kalkine TV for The Penny Picks Show. Let’s look at the ASX listed gold mining small cap stocks. Peregrine Gold announced the completion and receipt of final assays from the first phase
Reconnaissance drilling at Newman Gold Project which has identified significant gold, silver, palladium, lead and zinc mineralisation. A total of 92 reverse circulation holes were drilled for a total of 5,377 metres within the Birdsnest, Peninsula and Tin Can prospects. A total of
1,837 drill samples were collected and submitted for gold and multi-element geochemical analysis. The majority of samples were 4 metre composites although some drill holes at the Peninsula prospect were submitted as 1 metre interval samples. Mr George Merhi, Peregrine’s Technical Director said, the maiden reverse circulation drilling programme at its
Newman Project has opened up a geological province that is poorly understood and is the subject of little or no recent or historical exploration. Prior to commencement of the drilling programme, expectations of high-grade gold anomalism were high but geological and geochemical interpretation of the reverse circulation drill results has assisted with better
Understanding the gold mineralisation architecture within the project area. Far East Gold announced that the phase 1 drill program at the Woyla Project has returned bonanza grade gold and silver assays from three separate holes drilled at the Anak Perak and Rek Rinti vein
Systems. The company considers the three holes to be Discovery Holes confirming the potential for high-grade gold and silver resources within three separate quartz vein – breccia zones. Core observations and assays have confirmed the presence of significant grades of gold and silver mineralization over significant widths in both of the vein systems being drilled.
The drill program is progressing as planned with the company aiming to conclude the Phase 1 drill program at Anak Perak and Rek Rinti prospect areas by the end of 2022. Far East Gold’s Chief Executive Officer, Shane Menere the phase 1 drill program has successfully
Produced a Discovery Hole in three different veins from two separate vein systems. This confirms that Woyla has the potential to host a significant high-grade epithermal gold-silver resource. Sierra Nevada Gold announced first assays from its maiden New Pass reverse circulation drilling
Program with 1.22 meters at 26.7 grams per tonne gold from 186.53 meters downhole. This hole has intersected the superior vein down dip beneath the current level of mining and represents an 80 meters depth extension of this high-grade gold structure. The impressive first
Results showcase that New Pass has the potential to host a significant highgrade gold vein system. The downhole also intersected 1.22 meters at 7.79 grams per tonne gold from the near-surface expression of the True Blue Vein. This is the first exploration drill hole to intersect the
True Blue vein structure. Given this strong first drilling result, Sierra Nevada Gold will further test the True Blue structure as part of its ongoing explorations of the New Pass Project. Well, that’s all for now. We will be back with the exclusive Penny Picks show tomorrow. Keep
Watching Kalkine TV for the latest market updates and related insights. I am James signing off.
