    Dr Boehl is a passionate leader in Mining Asset Management and Maintenance. Her career spans over 20 years within mining and utilities, management consultancy, initially as a civil engineer, then research analyst and Manager Asset Management. Carla worked as Innovation Manager at Monadelphous Maintenance and as Digital Operations Manager at Westrac CAT Technology. She worked as Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the WA School of Mines (Curtin University) where she lectured Asset Management and Mining Maintenance and supervised a number of PhD students. She received engineering awards in Australia and overseas. Her interests include training and developing mining professionals in Automation and Data Decision Science. She is Fellow Member of Engineers Australia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. McKinsey Alumni.

    Roger specialises in the North American mining sector, based in Canada. His current role for 8 years is Senior Field Technical Advisor for Imperial Oil. Roger’s current territory includes Northern Alberta, Northwest Territories, and Yukon. Previously Roger has worked in high profile operations gaining +15 years expertise. Roger’s knowledge encompasses detailed investigation and analysis of equipment problems and improvement opportunities, the management of technical programs and condition monitoring applications and investigative lubricant, contaminant and component analysis.

    Imperial Oil Limited is Canada’s second-biggest integrated Oil Company with extensive portfolio including the Kearl Oil Sands. This project is an oil sands mine in the Athabasca Oil Sands region at the Kearl Lake area, in Alberta, Canada. Jointly owned by Imperial Oil (operator) and ExxonMobil Canada, the Kearl Oil Sands project produces one of the largest and highest quality oil sands deposits in Canada. Kearl is currently targeting a gross production rate of 220,000 barrels per day.

    Greg Williams is an asset management professional with 30 years experience in the care of physical assets. He has worked in a variety of senior and general management positions with the Navy, Tenix, Transfield Services, Silcar, AGL, Alinta, Jemena, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Powercor. His career has included roles in systems engineering, project management, logistics support, quality management, maintenance and risk consulting. Greg has a track record of achievement in leadership of asset management functions, enterprise and operational risk, regulatory compliance, business continuity and crisis and emergency policy.

    Throughout Greg’s career he has remained keenly interested in maintenance and process safety practices. He has delivered workshops and technical papers on risk, maintenance, life cycle costing, asset management and asset information management for a variety of clients and international conferences. He has developed and delivered graduate level courses on maintenance engineering and logical fault diagnosis at RMIT, and continues to contribute thought leadership in these areas.
