    scams involving cryptocurrency are
    fooling even the highest government
    officials leaving them asking where’s
the money yeah even one of those complex

Charlotte’s Kia Murray sat down with her
and the group working to get her money

information I let my guard down
a few months ago Sloan found out that
she was the victim of a scam all while
she was battling cancer what started as
    Facebook conversations about
    cryptocurrency Led Sloan to invest
hundreds into the digital platform what

coins the value of the investment that
slown lost is now estimated to be nearly
$2 million scams like the one she fell
victim to are getting more difficult to
navigate as technology develops a United
Nations report says the growth of
    cryptocurrency exchanges and even online
    gambling platforms are actually becoming
vessels for high crimes like money
laundering and just last year according
to Forbes even federal agencies are
being duped by these complex crypto
    scams we’re analyzing crypto
    transactions in blockchain analysis
we’re looking at organized crime that
that’s just part of the work balel reviv
is focused on as co-founder of Lionsgate
Network The Firm tracks and attempts to
    recover stolen cryptocurrency funds and
    it’s reportedly been successful in
    identifying and intercepting those
crypto accounts but yet another layer to
an already complicated issue is finding
Partnerships it’s our greatest pain we
want to find better conversations with
the FBI with police with uh Homeland
Security and we’re seeing that light and
that solution coming to fruition now
more than ever now the problem here is
that we have yet to see widespread
Solutions reviv there says firms like
his own are trying to work with law
    enforcement meanwhile law enforcement
has its own limitations on trying to
break down these scams catch the people
responsible and get people’s money back
