Oil prices dropping, near 7-week low
we’re nearing a 7 week low as oil prices continue to drop in the US today West Texas intermediate crude F Futures fell to just under $79 a barrel which is the lowest Mark since March 12th there are several factors behind the recent drop including concerns from investors that an economic slowdown is coming soon to the US and the drop in oil prices hasn’t led to a drop in local gas prices right now the average price for a gallon of gas in the Austin area is $3.30 according to AAA that’s about 5 cents higher than last week
On Thursday, West Texas Intermediate Crude futures fell to just under $79 a barrel.
