Protesters in a Pittsburgh neighborhood are demanding that a local gas station be shut down after a video of the owners attacking 2 Black women went viral.
The sisters said a dispute with the owners of the gas station stemmed from a pump malfunction that resulted in their gas spilling. The women’s demand for a refund quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, which a bystander caught on video. Police have launched and investigation and as a result, have determined that assault charges should be filed against the station’s owner and an employee.
